It has been a while since I’ve written a green smoothie post on our blog. Since Davy and I have taken a big of a time-out to coach some awesome blogger entrepreneurs these past few months, I thought I’d share some green smoothie recipes for ambitious, hard-working people.
I’m going to channel Incredible Smoothies (the former name of our blog) and share five of my favorite blends. (PS: You don’t have to be an entrepreneur to enjoy these blends!)
1) The Morning Energy Blend
When I am facing a ton of work, a crushing deadline, or need to hustle like mad, this is my go-to blend.
With a balanced mix of sweet banana, kiwifruit, mineral-rich spinach and parsley, a tropical undertone thanks to the coconut, and two powerful superfoods – cacao and goji berries, this green smoothie meal will rocket you into your morning and fuel you right through lunch.
The first time Davy had it, he said it was his new coffee!
2) The Mean & Green Smoothie
The stress of large workloads and never-ending To-Do’s can leave you depleted. But you can replenish your body with a massive dose of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants with this mean and green smoothie.
With a bit of fruit, a bit of veggie, and a whole lotta goodness, this blend will keep you healthy and productive all day long!
3) The Citrus Immune-Booster
Are you overworked and feeling run down? Busy entrepreneurs are prone to getting sick when stress levels rise, and their work/life balance gets out of whack.
But you can fight back against the sniffles with this potent citrus detox blend.
4) The Calm & Focused
Nothing gets me calm and focused like the tropical flavors of coconut and pineapple (think laying in a hammock on a Caribbean beach!)
Add a little dark chocolate in the form of antioxidant-rich raw cacao, and now you have the makings of a green smoothie that will get you calm and focused.

5) The Matcha “Bring-It-On!” Blend
Matcha green tea is almost made for entrepreneurs and busy side-hustlers!
Matcha is rich in the amino acid analog, theanine, which has been shown to reduce mental and physical stress, improve cognitive function, and work with caffeine to boost mood, and possibly boost immune function (read more about the health benefits of matcha).

Davy and I have had a green smoothie pretty much every day since January 1st, 2008. Green smoothie not only transformed our health, it changed our lives.
I like to carve out a little space in my morning to enjoy my green smoothie. I drink it as a morning mindfulness ritual while I set intentions for the day.
